The following programs are needed to use rancid:

- apache2 for the web server
- expect to get access systems remotly by different way such as telnet, ssh and other.
- cvs for Concurrent Version System to be able to check the differences between two version of the same file.
- cvsweb to be able to check on a browser the different version of a file generaed by cvs.

INSTALL PROGRAMS

Use apt-get to install the programs

#apt-get install apache2
#apt-get install expect
#apt-get install cvs
#apt-get install cvsweb
